Competitive edge of Ross 308 AP showcased
The Aviagen support team hosted several customers from Brazil and some from other parts of Latin America at its well-situated 72 square-meter booth. The team took the opportunity to fortify valued relationships and brainstorm on best management practices for ensuring the health and welfare Ross® 308 AP broiler breeding stock. “The Ross 308 AP is popular across Brazil and in other South American countries, with exceptional performance, especially in terms of feed conversion, growth rate and robustness,” explained Luiz Mansano, Aviagen's Sales Manager in Brazil. “We value our customers, and devote our time and energy to working with them to leverage these benefits and make a positive difference in their businesses.”
Visitors to the Aviagen booth were also invited to a unique dining experience, with a special buffet prepared by former participants of TV Bandeirantes' reality show “Masterchef.” The culinary team included acclaimed Brazilian chefs Raquel Novais and Livia Cathiard, who signed the first day's menu – which added a creative twist to chicken preparation.
Commitment to Latin American poultry
Considered Brazil’s biggest gathering of poultry professionals, SIAVS is attended by government and agricultural dignitaries, as well as poultry owners, integrators, veterinarians, agronomists and numerous other industry professionals.
Aviagen is a long-time supporter of the Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA), which organizes SIAVS every other year, and has participated in every edition since the show’s beginning.
“We stand behind ABPA because, as the world’s largest animal protein association, it makes important contributions that serve to further the poultry industry in Brazil. The show enables us to support the cause of the ABPA, while also connecting and sharing ideas with the whole poultry value chain,” commented Ivan Lauandos, President of Aviagen Latin America.
Together with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency. Apex-Brasil, ABPA launched “Brazilian Breeders” during SIAVS. Brazilian Breeders is a pool of poultry breeding companies including Aviagen and others. The purpose of the Brazilian Breeders brand will be to stimulate the global export of poultry breeding stock, touting the quality of the member companies to potential markets.
