CAMPINAS, Brazil – During the week of Nov. 30-Dec. 3, Mário Sérgio Assayag, Technical Support Manager, and Emilio Cura, Nutrition Specialist for Aviagen® Latin America headed for Ecuador. Assayag presented an overview of the global broiler market and outlook through 2050, and discussed the need for a continual focus on flock health improvement and disease prevention. Likewise, Cura led conversations on the practical aspects of optimizing broiler nutrition for better cost efficiency and performance.
Taking place in Quito, Ecuador, and following COVID guidelines for the safety of participants, the meetings were organized by Aviagen Colombia, which delivers quality Ross® 308 AP PS breeding stock to Ecuadorian producers.
Andrés Parra Díaz, Aviagen Colombia Sales and Technical Services Manager, commented on the importance of gathering with customers and sharing vital management knowledge. “Our customers in Ecuador care about their birds and are always interested in performance improvements achieved by implementing better management, health and welfare practices.
